Hello,

In our company we have two source languages, which are Chinese and English.

Background: It is quite hard and expensive to find good localization professionals for Chinese-Other languages pairs, so we have two Chinese-English specialists and English-Other language specialists (English-Russian, English-Portuguese, English-Italian etc).

Question: I wonder is there a Master/Slave functionality for Source Languages in MemoQ?

Question: I wonder is there a Master/Slave functionality for Source Languages in MemoQ?

To better understand my question I will try to give you an example below.

Our source languages are: Chinese and English

We have two master files: Chinese=English; English=Other languages;

What we want to achieve: Synchronization between Chinese (Master Source) and English (Slave Source), with all changes in strings available for English-Other language specialists in real time.

How we see it should work: We have a master file in Chinese. If there were any changes been made or new strings added in Chinese, Chinese-English specialists work on the changes or translate new strings. At the same time English-Other language specialists are able to see these new added stings or the changes that have been made by Chinese-English specialists.
