Apart from 2 annoying issues - a very short cable and the fact that the drive side connector very easily slips out (leaving me even less impressed) - I can't get my PC, my laptop or my EEE PC to recognise it. The nearest I get is the laptop (6 years old), which at least recognises that there's "something" plugged into it, just it tells me something about USB 2.0. But nothing in "My PC".
It has the mini connector on the drive side, the one that easily comes unplugged. On the other side it has two USBs. The bookelt tells me one is marked with a zig-zag to indicate power and that I may not need it. Yet I can't see that symbol on the two USBs, both are identical.
I have tried various USBs and I do feel it vibrating, but I can't identify it in "My PC". I even hear the click that tells me something is connected.
When I click on an icon for extracting hardware, I'm given a message about extracting a "massive USB device" ... but still nothing in "My PC".
Any help appreciated:-)
