Experienced Freelance Transcriptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced freelance transcriptionist to join our team on a regular, yet flexible basis. The primary responsibility will be to accurately transcribe audio interview recordings.

Key Responsibilities

- Transcribe audio recordings of interviews with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure transcriptions are formatted according to specific guidelines provided.
- Review transcriptions for any errors and make necessary corrections.
- Adhere to deadlines and be able to manage multiple transcription tasks effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information and adhere to ethical guidelines at all times.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a transcriptionist, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, including formatting and editing tools.
- Exceptional listening skills and the ability to transcribe with high accuracy.
- Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Must be able to adhere strictly to the required formatting and guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently from home.
- Must be willing and able to complete and pass a security clearance process, as required by our federal law enforcement client. Please note that this process may take some time before transcription assignments can be made.
