I know what this is as I watched a video of one being created, but don't know what it is in English. It is a tab created invisibly on the back of a tooth using adhesive to glue a tiny circular elastic band to this. The centre is then filled with resin and cured and the elastic is removed, leaving a "button" (or tab??) to which to attach the retainer elastics, without the need to attach a metal bracket/hook, as in traditional braces. I simply can't find any reference to this esthetic (as it isn't visible on the teeth) button or tab. Are there any orthodontists or anybody specialising in this field out there please??? From Brazil.
