Does anyone have an idea on the correct term for this. I assume it is some sort of walkway running along the crest of the dam or escape means??

Notou-se que a linha freática, do nível de água é paralela e muito próxima da superfície do talude, exceto na região da plataforma do recuo da crista.

I was thinking its a sort of walkway or catwalk running along or just below the crest of the dam but only guessing really.
