A sigla CCG é muito conhecida no meio. O leitor não-iniciado pode precisar da explicação.
Visitei o site (primeira referência abaixo), registrei-me, e tive acesso às FFQ, de onde trado estas:
What is the CCG?
The Clean Components Guide is a digital toolkit for the preparation and delivery of digital artwork for EMI Recorded Music group companies around the world. The CCG contains packaging specifications and digital templates (in QuarkXpress 4) to take the guesswork out of packaging design, allowing creative people to be creative instead of being technical detectives.

The pilot
The first phase included a test of a fully operational file transfer, job management and pre-flighting solution at EMI partner sites in the U.S. at the end of July 2000. However, before this system could be fully utilized, a strict set of standards had to be established to ensure that all sites were working with the same equipment. This set of standards, referred to as the "Clean Components Guide," was designed as an extranet for company and third party suppliers in digital design, production, reprographics (color separations), pre-flighting, print, traffic, and archiving. For example, a freelance designer working on a hip-hop CD cover in New York can access all the needed applications and guidelines on the Internet to ensure that his work meets all required standards before submitting the finished product.
The CCG is located on a website that contains component specifications for CD booklets and digital tools such as font-logos to help creative people (a) get the technical side right the first time, and (b) focus on the creative side. Once registered, designers can download certain Mac-based applications, such as, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Aladdin Stuffit. In addition to the main specifications and digital toolbox, CCG Online contains information on software standards, the digital artwork process (including color management and archiving), a newsletter, and a feedback loop for users to participate in the evolution of the site. Automatic updates are sent when they become available.
