According to all my dictionaries predictable=previsível,
however, we have "predizer" in Portuguese and I'd say that's the meaning of to predict, right?
My question is about "predizível", that's wrong isn't it? Even though I have found it on google, it is not correct Portuguese, is it? Can you guys who are living in Pt or Br shed any light on this? Thanks a lot.

"In fact, however, they [= advertisers and TV executives] are appealing selectively to certain aspects of the human nature - the most primitive aspects, because those are the most predictable."

I didn't find "predizível" in any of my dictionaries (either Portuguese or Brazilian), so I would go for "previsível"
Predizer means:
v. tr.
dizer ou anunciar com antecedência o que vai acontecer;
vaticinar;
prenunciar por conjectura;
anunciar por indícios;
profetizar;
prognosticar.
So there's no paradox in using "previsível".
