Perhaps it would be a good idea, prior to signing up for German lesson, to sign up for English lessons. The spelling and grammar indicate that these are badly needed.
Did you check the IP address, Gudrun? It will probably lead you to Nigeria.

and I admit I was rather surprised. I thought it was strange because the sender had no idea who I am, where I give my classes, etc. If it was me who wanted to spend a month doing an intensive course in a foreign country, I would need a lot more information.
I just didn't bother answering and deleted the messages without a second thought.

I guess No. 5 would be John Doe.
These combination of first names and last names would make me think of these Chinese names:
One Zhang
Two Wang
Three Li
Four Chen
While it is possible there are some people that use these names, the chance is 1 out of a billion that people with these combinations of names come to a group to learn a foreign language.
This is funny. I think the scammers should hire better employees
