Bonjour,

Bien cordialement,

Unfortunately, the client is not obliged to give you work just because you had signed a contract with them. I am afraid they may have been wasting your time; their behaviour is unfortunately common practice. They may have simply wanted to steal your name and information for other purposes.

Sitting on the dock of a database May 11, 2022

I've registered and signed countless contracts with agencies without ever being assigned anything. Contracts with prospective clients are usually along the lines of "when we need you, we'll contact you".
But all hope is not lost, and sheer luck can do wonders. In an ocean of "dead" leads, I was contacted by an agency a few years after registration with them and we've been interacting happily together for the past ten years. A new end customer or a freelance translator retiring/quitting is

I didn't bother this time because the moderators have been quite quick of late when it came to moving non-English posts to non-English forums. I'm not sure what happened this time. (-: Hopefully your and my posts will be removed soon, for being off-topic.

Thanks for your comment. I now have several possible reasons to the situation. May 12, 2022

Il s'agit de NDAs. Pas de bon de commande. Merci pour ce partage. May 12, 2022

A propos... May 14, 2022
