Begginer translator with experience mainly in volunteer translation.

My first experience was when I was still in High School, when I worked on fan-made subtitles (PT-BR) for season 3 of the TV show "Sherlock" (BBC), consisting of 3 episodes of about 1:30 hour each, also helping with proofreading. At the time, I also translated short stories online, more video subtitles and part of the script for an indie game.

Later, I worked as a freelancer translating knowledge-base articles from English into Brazilian Portuguese for a company that works with music distribuition and marketing.

More recently, I have voluntarily worked as translator, proofreader and final translation reviewer on a shadow report about child marriage in Brazil, talking about the laws in force on the country related to the subject and the social impact it causes.

To add to that, I am also pursuing a degree in Language Studies (Portuguese and English), which I will finish by the end of 2022, and I'm an English teacher with 2 and a half years of experience.

I am looking for projects to get more experience in my areas of interest, besides learning more about different areas in translation and building a professional network.
