My name is Cristiane Babuska and I’ve been working as translator (EN>PT-BR) since 2013. I have provided translation and proofreading services to Disney, Ormuco and other clients in the areas of tourism, entertainment, marketing, financial, advertising and others. I’m also a TED and Child Fund volunteer. I majored in Languages, with specialization in the English language, by FEM and I hold a specialist degree in Literacy, by UFSJ. At the moment, I’m concluding a specialization in English Translation Studies at Universidade Estácio de Sá. I also have a Subtitling raining certificate.
Besides being a translator, I've been working as an English and Portuguese teacher for more than 14 years and have developed my career in Elementary and High schools and in Language schools such as CCAA, Fisk and English Classes. I hope my skills can be useful.

Meu nome é Cristiane Babuska e sou tradutora do par Inglês – Português desde 2013. Já prestei serviços de tradução e revisão para a Disney, Ormuco e outros clientes nas áreas de turismo, entretenimento, marketing, finanças, anúncios e outras. Também sou tradutora voluntária do TED e do Child Fund. Me formei em Letras, com especialização em Inglês, pela FEM e sou pós-graduada em Práticas de Letramento e Alfabetização pela UFSJ. Atualmente, estou concluindo uma pós-graduação em Tradução de Inglês na Universidade Estácio de Sá. Também possuo um certificado de Treinamento em Legendagem.
Além de tradutora, há 14 anos tenho trabalhado como professora de inglês e português do ensino fundamental e médio e, em escolas de idiomas como CCAA, Fisk e English Classes. Espero que minhas qualificações sejam úteis.
