: I think this is the closest to being correct in all of the suggestions. In this case, I would think of "fazer politica" as "make policy". I think the overall translation that Judith submitted is a good interpretation. Boa sorte!

I don't think it is AT ALL clear as far as context goes...Normally, companies have POLICIES with regard to PRODUCTS...so, here, that's what they're talking about, IMO. "determinar uma política" is "draw up a policy"..and FAZER then, is make the thing political with a little p.....not like politics with politician...but politics as in a political issue....slightly different, no?
