I know that macros, whether they be Word macros or others, can help increase translation quality and efficiency. I also know that there are many macros out there that aren't posted on the Web and so we can't find them through a search engine. Other macros are there, but hard to find.
I would like to know which macros or macro packages some of you are using, whether they be specifically translation-related or more general macros that are useful for translation work.

J'ai écris il y a déjà quelques années un macro qui me fournit par action sur une touche la traduction du mot, éventuellement du groupe de mots, qui suit dans le texte.
Dans la situation suivante:
/curseur/ Zusammensetzungen gemäß Anspruch ...
où /curseur/ représente la position du curseur,
l'actionnement de la touche /F12/ fait apparaître la situation suivante:
composition/curseur/ gemäß Anspruch ...

Le macro utilise une liste de traduction sous forme d'un fichier Word écrit sous un format déterminé et ouvert dans la 2e fenêtre de Word. Il va y chercher le mot source, puis le mot cible, et revient dans la fenêtre du texte à traduire pour remplacer le mot source par le mot cible.
Le macro contient une fonctionnalité pour compléter rapidement la liste de traduction (véritable dictionnaire) quand un mot n'y est pas trouvé, et une fonctionnalité pour traduire des expressions de plusieurs mots.
Je l'utilise pour l'allemand, mais il es bien endendu applicable à n'importe quelle paire de langues. Il est utilisable aussi comme fonction module de texte, en concurrence avec la fonction Word (F3) et avec l'avantage que la liste est beaucoup plus commode à maintenir et à éditer.
Ce macro est complété par un macro de maintenance et deux petits qui permutent l'ordre des mots.

I found the use of regular expression in Word useful, though these are not macros, strictly speaking. They provide great content for macros, though. Another term for regular expressions is wildcards.

The pages are mostly in Polish, but (if you don't speak Polish) you can get an idea of what the macros do by looking at the code or passing the url through google translate.
I've got some other macros, but have never found the time to post them. Maybe one of these days ...
Agreed, AndoTools is a very useful set of macros.
