Bonjour,
Avant de m'inscrire à la soirée Gala, j'aimerais savoir s'il s'agit d'un buffet ou d'un diner formel.
Y a-t-il des options pour les végétariens?

A priori, le dîner sera formel. Je suis en train de finaliser les négotiations avec un traiteur de luxe...
Dans tous les cas, il y aura des options pour des végitariens !
Par contre, attention car ton inscription comprend le dîner ! L'achat du dîner seul est réservé aux invités.

I asked a French friend how to dress for a gala but being a chap, he just said "o France is much less formal than GB, any nice frock will do."
Well, I haven't any diamonds but would like to be at least as correct as the other ladies so any guidance woiuld be welcome.

Just asked a French girlfriend, and she says it's usually pretty formal attire for a gala dinner. What do the organizers say, should we break out our cocktail dresses? | | |
Dear Lori and Parolista,
Dress code will be a bit formal - no need for girls to take out long dresses and men the tuxedos, it will not be that formal. Dress nicely - if you do not want to wear a dress/skirt, you can come in an elegant trousers suit, for example.
