Hi!

I'm Ekaterina. I am a business and conference interpreter with a diploma
from Russia’s leading school of interpreting and translation and 10+ years of
experience in providing accurate (‘sense-for-sense’) and culturally sensitive
interpretation services in business, legal and on-site settings.

Being a Russian native speaker, I am very lucky to have been living in
Angola for 8+ years interpreting professionally between Russian and English and
Portuguese. 

I’ve worked with businesses and government officials and have been exposed
to all sorts of content, including highly technical content, like aerospace,
hydraulic and electrical engineering or construction, ensuring accurate
information exchange and facilitating decision-making involving individuals of different
linguistic and cultural backgrounds. My customers have faced all kinds of
complex situations, but language barriers have never been an issue.  

As an interpreter and a doctorate degree holder specializing in
cross-cultural communication, I see my mission as ensuring precise, reliable,
full-fat communication with a particular focus on unspoken intent and other
culturally determined aspects of communication. Culture shapes language and
language reflects culture. I help my clients navigate linguistic and cultural
nuances and aim to create and maintain a positive climate and facilitate
seamless understanding through accurate and culturally responsive
interpretation, thus allowing my clients to focus on their jobs and deliver
results. This can be particularly relevant in high-stakes and conflict-prone
environments where maintaining a constructive cross-cultural dialogue is
sometimes a difficult task to perform.

I divide my time
between interpreting and translation. Get a reliable translation of your
