I have been working as a professional Music researcher for many years, producing a large specialized literature, varying from academic papers to book chapters. I have lived in different countries, from where I learned the ways of their languages and cultures. Currently living in a multi-language environment, I usually speak English, Portuguese, and French daily. Therefore, as a consequence of living abroad, either while writing formal academic essays in my native idiom or handling informal talks with local people in foreign ones, my language knowledge is now more than skills: it is something alive in me.
