I am not sure if I fell in love with languages or culture first. All I know is that, I can not tell anything about my life without the words "Portuguese and English". I was born in Brazil and I started studying English at age 13. I moved to the United States when I was 17, for an exchange year. I lived and studied there for a year. When I went back to Brazil, I started teaching English, studying Translation and Interpretation at Universidade Ibero-Americana in São Paulo. After that I studied Languages, Portuguese and English and also Linguistics and Language Teaching. In summary, for the past 23 years all I have done is teaching, translating and interpreting.  I love doing all of them, because they are very different and each one matches one personality trait of mine. It is difficult to say what I am most proud of in terms of jobs. I am very proud of being one of the first Aviation English teachers at Centro Técnico Aéreo-Espacial. I am proud of all translations and I am also very proud of having received a commendation as an Interpreter.
