We are the Center of Measurement and Information Systems (CEMIS), a Finnish research and education center that includes University of Oulu, University of Jyväskylä, Kajaani University of Applied Sciences and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
CEMIS has extensive experience in developing on-line monitoring solutions devices. At the moment we are developing a measurement device which is going to be able to measure sugar-levels from bio ethanol, allowing producers to minimize their wastage of raw material, while enhancing the final quality of the product.
Since Brazil is the second largest ethanol producer in the world, also a big consumer, we are seeking the opportunity to get in contact with local ethanol producers in order to discuss piloting opportunities in their production plants. UNICA is the leading trade association for the sugarcane industry in Brazil, and we are interested in cooperating with the Association and the member industries in the near future. We seek contact with you to talk about this in more details.
