I am a graduate of the University of Bristol’s rigorous MA in Translation, which was awarded with Distinction. This course gave me experience in translating a variety of texts including legal, academic, literary, commercial as well as scripts for dubbing.

Due to my experience of living and working abroad, I have a particular interest in translating for the travel and tourism industry and specialise in commercial texts and translating for museums. I also thoroughly enjoy literary translation, having completed a 9,000 word translation of a fiction novel for my MA dissertation.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Leeds, UK. During the course of my degree I studied at Universities in both Spain and Portugal, which provided me the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the languages and cultures I studied.

I have developed a solid understanding of financial terminology and processes from 10 years working in the finance and banking industries, and hold a professional qualification in Management Accounting.
