Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this term.

It comes from a customer satisfaction survey for a gas supplier from Brazil to be translated into UK English.

The question asked was:

"Finally, do you have any additional comments to make regarding your experience with [company]?"

The full answer given was:

"Sim poucas vezes conseguem comparecer no dia anunciado pois aproveita rotas de outras viagens e as vezes não atendem a todos principalmente em épocas de feriados nessa época passo apertado por que meu restaurante é mais afastado do centro para garantir o meu gás ligo uma semana antes"

So far, I have written:

"Yes, they rarely manage to turn up on the day announced, as they use routes from other trips, and sometimes they don't serve everybody, mainly during holiday periods. During this time, I passo apertado because my restaurant is further from the centre. In order to guarantee my gas, I call a week before.".
