This is for a patient who had an MI. (Brazil)

What exactly is it trying to say here?

Thanks!

that caused the DA lesion to progress slightly, from 30% to 40%

Explanation:
My interpretation is the opposite, the the lesion progressed - i.e., became worse.

disagree  Rafael Sousa Brazlate: Dont think catheterization would make the lesion get worse. I got that, but I think this text is quite unusual. Anyway, could you ser a catheterization making a lesion get worse!? I can't.

[catheterization] found out lesion had progressed slightly, from 30% to 40%

Explanation:
Since catheterization is a diagnostic procedure, the only reasonable explanation I can think about now is that it found out the lesion had progressed. And since we do not know what progress means in this text, the literal translation sounds better.

Even though I am not really, really sure about this.

neutral  Muriel Vasconcellos: I see that you hid your earlier answer! Cathetarization can have many purposes, not just diangosic.
