Discussion

Adrian MM. (X) Jan 18, 2014:
Non-POA If this 'Deed of Partition' is like a DoFa in the UK = Deed of Family Arrangement or Variation of the Will, then the parties to the adjustment would be the original and the new beneficiaries. Assentors and mutal assentees would work only on an assent from the testamentary executors to the rightful beneficiiaries.
Bett (asker) Jan 18, 2014:
this is not a POA.
the children are the ones asking for the distribution of the property but also the beneficiaries of such distribution...

Somente como referência, "jointly grantors and grantees" não é expressão do inglês, nem americano , nem internacional.

Donors and mutual donees

If a power of attorney, it's donor vs. donee as well as grantor vs. grantee and pricipal vs. agent.

Watch the adverb reciprocally that goes to an adjective.

As both Grantors and Grantees

Probably no less ambiguous than the original.

e.g.

EFFECT SO LONG AS BOTH GRANTORS AND GRANTEES OWN THEIR RESPECTIVE PROPERTY AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. In the event that Grantors and/or Grantees sell , assign or lease their respective land as described above, then this agreement and easement shall terminate and shall be null, void and of no effect.

Names like James, Robert, John and Joshua, as well as Thomas and Benjamin, appear as witnesses to Deeds of neighbors, or as both grantors and grantees of land.

The numerous transactions in subsequent years in which he and Rachel appear both as grantors and grantees suggest that he was more of a dealer in land than a worker of the land.
