Can't search TM

When I try to do a search within my TM, I have the window for searching open, and I understand that I need to tick the box that says "search TM". However, this option is not available to tick. The text is in faded grey and the box is not clickable. Does anyone know why or how I can change this?

Would you have checked "Search files", at the bottom of the Search window?
