Bio
  • I have been an all round freelance translator for many years mainly  property, medical, legal, advertising and websites) and in the last ten years have focused on literary translation. My main language pairs are Spanish and Portuguese into English.
  • In 2017 I completed my PhD entitled 'The Translation of Original Metaphor from Spanish to English in the novels of Carmen Laforet'
  • From 2000 - 2010 ran my own book business selling US books to UK booksellers. Since then I have been running a translation agency in Kent.
  • I am now interested in any literary translation projects, Spanish, Portuguese - English that may come my way! I am also developing a new interest in subtitling.
