I am an English to Brazilian Portuguese (EN > PT-BR) translator based in Brazil.

My specializations include video game localization, IT, digital marketing and finance translations. I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Strategic Marketing. Currently, I am pursuing a Certificate Program from NYU – SCPS in English to Portuguese Translation.

I recently took part in the LocJAM2 game localization contest for which I received an honorable mention.

I am currently working for an agency localizing a game called Unison League.

I have been working for two agencies for over 5 years and Zynga was one of clients. I have worked on the localization of 3 facebook games (Castleville, Farmville and Mafiawars). The texts included dialogs and storylines. I have been exposed to and can easily adapt to various style guides and localization guides.

I am proficient in Trados Studio 2014 and I have worked with Wordfast and MemoQ. Besides, my background in Computer Science provides me with the skills to quickly learn and master new tools.
