I started my working experience a few moons ago, at a Japanese newspaper in my hometown of São Paulo, while taking classes in the Introduction to the Russian Language. This first experience contributed to an employment upgrade, and at age 16 I went to work at the American Chamber of Commerce for Brazil.
From there, I worked at a series of advertising companies as a desktop publisher and coordinator for sales campaigns. Taking my curiosity for diversity abroad, I moved to Bolivia and lived there for three years working as a translator for medical materials. I lived another three years in Argentina, working as a translator for a kennel member of the AKC, as well as a desktop publisher for an accounting company.
Once back in Brazil, I worked as a Spanish teacher for FISK as well as a cargo agent in the foreign trade field for Fiorde Logística Internacional, a representative of Geologistics, today, Agility.
A well established translator, interpreter and voice-over professional for over 7 years, I frequently participate in translation contests, having won 2nd place in 2007 on a translators website. I also take a chance at publishing some of my works on a poetry website and offer voluntary work to a few humanitarian campaigns.
If someone you know has recently bought a sewing machine of a certain brand, you will hear my voice on the instructional DVD. I am fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
I greatly enjoy my work while raising a very eloquent 4 year-old baby girl, who is also a trilingual in the works, along with my husband.
