French term

intermédiaire commissionné

French to English Law/Patents Business/Commerce (general)
This applies to a travel agent and appears as follows in my text:
"activités « d’intermédiaire commissionné », c’est à dire « transparent » ; c’est, par exemple, l’hypothèse des commissions qui vous sont versées par des hôtels, pour leur avoir procuré des clients, et que vous facturer à ces établissements".
Is it ok just to refer here to travel agents working on a commission basis, or is there another more correct term?
Thanks in advance :)

agree rkillings : Or just 'commission agent'. Attach the word 'tranparent' to 'intermediary' alone.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Chris. Further on in the text it became clear that your suggestion and my original instincts were correct. I'm grateful for your help :) However, I've changed it to "commission-based intermediary", as this is a case of a tour operator offering services that are not usually provided by a travel agent. The agent is in fact in this instance acting as an intermediary and receiving commission from hotels/transport companies, restaurants, etc."
