How do I install wordfast Pro 3? Which program do I open it with?

A client wants me to do a translation tonight using wordfast pro 3. I have downloaded it on a trial basis, but my computer asks what program do I want to open it with and I cannot find that information anywhere. Can anyone advise?

There is no separate program. Download, run to install, and there you are. Click on WordfastPro, and it runs.

After that, it takes some reading of the Help file to set it up and use it.

Just saying.

Once you've installed WordFast, it just opens itself when you click the WF icon.

Maybe you're trying to open the file to be translated? I open the WF first, then the file usually opens fine after that.

Ask your client to send you the file in TXML format Nov 10, 2016

A program is used to open up files. A program doesn't need another program to itself per se. You must have been trying to open a file in a format that WFP 3 doesn't identify. Ask your client to send you the file in TXML format. That's all you need to do.

Not my client's fault, it's just that I thought I had to open the program and then access the the client's work, I didn't realise it was the other way round.
