Note that a translator "expert", also referred to as "assermenté", is authorised to certify only his/her own work, not that of a third party. If I understand your post correctly, you say that you sometimes do work for any agency and that the agency then takes care of certifying the translation. If that is the case, the agency is certifying work done by a third party, a practice that is prohibited in France. ▲ Collapse
