Probably I'm the last one to find out about this, but just in case...

I've just received a mail, allegedly from Microsoft Tech Services, and containing a purported security patch, supposed to address some kind of security concern.

Norton denounced it as a virus: worm.automat.AHB.

I just received an email supposedly sent by Microsoft Security Services but actually sent by un unknown email address. The return path of this email is the one of a Colombian friend of mine, whose computer has probably been infected by this virus. Be very careful and check always this type of emails. Microsoft never sends patchs by email.

But the worst thing is that I also have Norton Antivirus; however this worm or virus or whatever was not detected.
