Tests conducted on a hydroxyapatite coated part. Testing for adherence, thickness, roughness, porosity, and "taux d'incrustations". The term is simply used as a header in various tables, with no further context or explanations.

Context would help. Does the text concern the negative aspects of incrustation (See Liz Askew below) or the positive? For example, http://www.hindawi.com/journals/bca/2012/730693/ and http://www.azom.com/article.aspx?ArticleID=1405 show that the use of these coatings is quite deliberate. If the latter (and I suspect it is), then "incrustation" (or encrustation) carries negative overtones and reminds me of barnacles on a shop's bottom, so "rate of deposition" might be more approriate for a high-precision titanium implant.
