"Jornada Científica de Pós-graduação". It's an event, something like a congress. I'm not completely sure of the specificities of the term. I'm almost sure, however, it is used arbitrarily with the same meaning as congress. Any hints? Thank you very much.

I think you are right. It can be congress, conference, seminar, whatever. The original idea should have been that it meant a one-day event (like in the French “jour”, “journée”), but I think it is now used both for one-day and multiple-day events. Good luck!
