Hi,
How can I get the TM out of a bilingual (uncleaned) Word file, if I only have that file. Am working with Trados 2009.

Bilingual Word docs and .ttx files are Trados 2007 territory. You first of all need to populate a Trados 2007 TM with the bilingual file, then convert that TM to a Trados 2009 TM. But first of all you need to save the bilingual file as a Rich Format File - .rtf in Word. If you are unfamiliar with Trados 2007, here is what to do next:
Open Workbench Create a new TM While you have the TM open, goto Tools > Clean Up... Add the bilingual .rtf file ... See more
