A total of 19 people attended this PowWow - a very respectable turnout.
Despite the weather forecast warning of showers, we all headed to Bruntsfield Links for 2pm and set up the barbecues. All was going well until the heavens opened around 90 minutes later, and we were all soaked by a deluge which showed no sign of stopping. So we invoked Plan B and headed to my nearby flat, where festivities continued until around 9pm.
It was great to catch up with old friends and make some new ones too. Thanks to everyone who made the effort and who helped to make the Translators' Barbecue 2015 such a success, despite the weather. Hopefully see you in August for the Edinburgh Fringe event.
