slight

slight / minor / trace mitral regurgitation

'pufje' means that the mitral regurgitation is very slight

the word may be based on Doppler images or echocardiographic images
normally the word 'spoor' or 'gering' is used: trace / slight
perhaps 'pufje' is slightly bigger than 'trace' and we could use 'minor' or just slight

Does slight mitral regurgitation cause problems?

no

and practically everyone has a little

agree Francina : minor or trace mitral regurgitation (or insufficiency)!

Thank you, Francina. English uses nearly always 'regurgitation'. All three options slight/minor/trace can be used. On the basis of 'hufje', it is impossible to say which is best, or 'trace' and 'minor' are too specific.
