I'm not a math person, but I'm pretty sure this doesn't match up. Any help?

It depends whether you're in USA or UK
The number 25,000 million in the UK would be just that: twenty five thousand million. BUT in the USA, once you reach 999 million and add one you have one billion, which means that your number would be 25 billion.
So, in USA 1,000 million is said to be a "billion", but in the UK a "billion" is a 1,000,000 million... of anything.
