A Pay As You Go meter allows you to pay for your gas and electricity as you use it. You won't receive a bill from us, so it's a simple way to pay for your energy.

It helps you to budget for your energy use, and you can see how much energy you use on a daily basis. We'll still send you a statement each year so you can keep an eye on how much you've used.

If you have any outstanding debt from your past energy bills, we can add this to the Pay As You Go meter and spread it out into affordable weekly repayments.

We'll send you a prepayment statement twice a year which will show you the payments you've made and how much electricity or gas you've used. Your statement is issued for your information only.

It may show payments you've made after the reading was taken and the balance was calculated. If your statement says you're in credit, we’ll be using these payments to calculate your next statement.

If you are repaying a debt through your meter and you want to reduce or clear the debt, you can make an additional payment using the giro slip. Details of how to pay are on the giro slip.
