Description Los textos para el sector turístico son aparentemente sencillos porque el lenguaje que utilizan es en su mayor parte de carácter general. Sin embargo, al tratar distintas áreas como pueden ser la geografía, arquitectura, historia, gastronomía y un largo etcétera, el traductor debe emplear mucho tiempo y esfuerzo si quiere producir una traducción de calidad, que sea fiel al original y que suene natural para el turista o viajero que la lea. Se puede encontrar además con un sinfín de expresiones que no tienen traducción en la lengua meta porque son particulares de la cultura de origen. Y si a ello le añadimos todos esos topónimos, nombres de instituciones y de personajes históricos, santos, monarcas, iglesias y lugares de interés, todo se complica aun más. Para los que se inician en la traducción turística (y también para los que ya han tenido cierta experiencia) este curso os enseñará a encontrar soluciones prácticas a los problemas que presentan a lo largo del viaje. Y al llegar al destino hora después, os llevaréis de recuerdo unas pautas, mucho vocabulario práctico, cantidad de expresiones útiles y referencias para buscar información que harán que traducir sea como un viaje de 5 estrellas.
