Source text - English 3.8 Types and objects
The notion of type is central to C++ and most other programming languages. Let’s take a closer and slightly more technical look at types, specifically at the types of the objects in which we store our data during computation. It’ll save time in the long run, and it may save you some confusion.
• A type defines a set of possible values and a set of operations (for an object).
• An object is some memory that holds a value of a given type.
• A value is a set of bits in memory interpreted according to a type.
• A variable is a named object.
• A declaration is a statement that gives a name to an object.
• A definition is a declaration that sets aside memory for an object.
Informally, we think of an object as a box into which we can put values of a given type. An int box can hold integers, such as 7, 42, and –399. A string box can hold character string values, such as "Interoperability", "tokens: !@#$%^&*", and "Old McDonald had a farm".
The representation of a string is a bit more complicated than that of an int because a string keeps track of the number of characters it holds. Note that a double stores a number whereas a string stores characters. For example, x stores the number 1.2, whereas s2 stores the three characters '1', '.', and '2'. The quotes for character and string literals are not stored.
Every int is of the same size; that is, the compiler sets aside the same fixed amount of memory for each int. On a typical desktop computer, that amount is 4 bytes (32 bits). Similarly, bools, chars, and doubles are fixed size. You’ll typically find that a desktop computer uses a byte (8 bits) for a bool or a char and 8 bytes for a double. Note that different types of objects take up different amounts of space. In particular, a char takes up less space than an int, and string differs from double, int, and char in that different strings take up different amounts of space.
• Wartość to zbiór bitów w pamięci interpretowanych zgodnie z danym typem.
• Zmienna to obiekt posiadający nazwę.

English to Polish: Electrocution General field: Medical Detailed field: Electronics / Elect Eng
Source text - English By far, the single most dangerous aspect of working with electronics is the possibility of electrocution. Electrical shock results when the body reacts to an electrical current — this reaction can include an intense contraction of muscles (namely, the heart) and extremely high heat at the point of contact between your skin and the electrical current. The heat leads to burns that can cause death or disfigurement. Even small currents can disrupt your heartbeat.
The degree to which electrical shock can harm you depends on a lot of factors, including your age, your general health, the voltage, and the current. If you’re well over 50 or in poor health, you probably won’t stand up to injury as well as if you’re 14 and as healthy as an Olympic athlete. But no matter how young and healthy you may be, voltage and current can pack a wallop, so it’s important that you understand how much they can harm you.
Translation - Polish Zdecydowanie jednym z najbardziej niebezpiecznych aspektów pracy z elektroniką jest możliwość porażenia prądem.

Source text - English Validating Product IDs
You can use a foreign key to validate the entries against a set of legitimate values in another table. You declare that Contacts.account_id references Accounts.account_id, and therefore you rely on the database to enforce referential integrity. Now you can be sure that the intersection table contains only account IDs that exist. You can also use SQL data types to restrict entries. For example, if the entries in the list should be valid INTEGER or DATE values and you declare the column using those data types, you can be sure all entries are legal values of that type (not nonsense entries like banana).
English to Polish: Object and Collection Initializers General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Computers: Software
Source text - English Object and Collection Initializers
Here’s another common programming task that’s quite boring: constructing objects and then assigning values to their properties. For example
Person person = new Person();
person.Name = "Steve";
person.Age = 93;
RegisterPerson(person);
It’s one simple task, but it takes four lines of code to implement it. Just when you were on the brink of getting RSI, the C# 3 compiler swoops in with a new syntax:
RegisterPerson(new Person { Name = "Steve", Age = 93 });
So much better! By using the curly brace notation after a new expression, you can assign values to the new object’s publicly settable properties, which is great when you’re just creating a quick new instance to pass into a method. The code within the curly braces is called an object initializer, and you can put it after a normal set of constructor parameters if you need. Or, if you’re calling a parameterless constructor, you can simply omit the normal constructor parentheses.
Along similar lines, the C# 3 compiler will generate some code for you if you’re initializing a new collection—for example:
List countries = new List();
countries.Add("England");
countries.Add("Ireland");
countries.Add("Scotland");
countries.Add("Wales");
can now be reduced to this:
List countries = new List {
"England", "Ireland", "Scotland", "Wales"
};
The compiler lets you use this syntax when constructing any type that exposes a method called Add(). There’s a corresponding syntax for initializing dictionaries, too:
Dictionary zipCodes = new Dictionary {
{ 90210, "Beverly Hills" },
{ 73301, "Austin, TX" }
};
Osoba osoba = new Osoba();
osoba.Imie = "Steve";
osoba.Wiek = 93;
ZarejestrujOsobe(osoba);
Potrzeba czterech linii kodu, by wykonać to jedno proste zadanie.
ZarejestrujOsobe(new Osoba {Imie = "Steve", Wiek = 93});
O wiele lepiej!
List kraje = new List();
kraje.Add("Anglia");
kraje.Add("Polska");
kraje.Add("Szkocja");
kraje.Add("Walia");
można teraz zapisać tak:
List kraje = new List{
"Anglia", "Polska", "Szkocja", "Walia"
};
Istnieje też analogiczna składania do inicjalizacji słowników:
Dictionary zipCodes = new Dictionary {
{90210, "Beverly Hills"},
{73301, "Austin, TX"}
};

INTRODUCTION

ABSTRACT
The publication contains the results of a static secretion kinetics in HSLA steels microalloyed with Nb, Ti, V and N between plastic deformations under heat cycles. Deformation process was carried out using a torsion plastometer and Gleeble thermomechanical simulator. Secretion kinetics curves of tested steels were determined using deformation value changes corresponding to maximum stress on flow curves during continuous and discontinuous deformation tests. The process of evolution was carried out using torsion plastometer and Gleeble thermomechanical simulator. The process of austenite secretion of tested steels was examined using transmission electron microscopy on samples directly quenched after deformation under heat and kept isothermally in varied time. Secretion effects inherited in martensite were analyzed by electron diffraction technique and X-ray microanalysis.

INTRODUCTION
Chemical composition and changes in the structure of HSLA steel during plastic deformation under heat are the primary source of variation in mechanical properties of finished products. Shaping of the mechanical properties for this group of materials is done either by calling the appropriate strenbghtening mechanisms, as well as by the selection of the correct phase composition of steel1-3. Decisive role in shaping of the mechanical properties of microalloy steels is played by precipitations of secondary interstitial phases created as a result of microalloying with Nb, Ti, V, N, that is carbides and nitrides and the products of their mutual solubility - carbonitrides. The stability of these phases depends mainly on their chemical composition, and dissolution temperature4-7. Knowledge of basic thermodynamic data of the analyzed compounds allows their use in technological processes of plastic processing under heat, such as: adjustable rolling, rolling with controlled recrystallization, finishing rolling thermomechanical treatment operations8-12. Microalloyed HSLA steels with ferrite-pearlite structure obtain their relatively high strength properties due to the grain fragmentation and precipitation strengthening13-15.
