Texte source - anglais Building on a reputation for playfully subversive womenswear, London-based designer Molly Goddard evokes a quirky nostalgia in her menswear line. Before launching her eponymous label in 2014, Goddard studied Fashion Knit at Central Saint Martins, refining her appreciation for traditional knitwear fabrics and designs. With men’s ready-to-wear, Goddard renews her affinity for refined maximalism and English heritage via a mix-and-match offering of brightly hued Fair Isle sweaters, graphic floral T-shirts, and checkered suiting. References to the brand's signature voluminous shapes and textural frills come through ruffled and smocked detailing that adorns spread collar shirts and totes. Tailored slim suits and high-waisted plaid trousers meanwhile pay homage to the brand's off-kilter attitude and retro flair.
