Following my many years in high-tech industry, working with IT on operative as well as managerial and corporate levels, I established myself as a professional translator a few years into the new millennium. My experience has been built from a diversity of tasks, technical as well as marketing and financial, including serving as a director on the board of an international listed corporation. During my years as a freelance translator, I have worked within a multitude of domains, mainly with automotive, technical, financial and marketing texts. 

I have established very good relations with a few highly proficient colleagues, which means we can work as a team handling all aspects of huge translation and localization projects.

When I refer to 'me', actually I should also include my wife. We work closely toghether as a team. Her native languages are Arabic and French, mine is Norwegian. We are both proficient in English, and I have a good standing in German. My wife has a PhD in social sciences, and she has been working in this field for 20 years. We both have some time on our hands and we have state-of-the-art computer and networking environment available. Main translation tools are SDL Trados Studio 2019 and memoQ, but we also have other systems available. We would like to offer small sample work for anyone to evaluate - feel free to contact us!
