en este caso me parece que espero, no es como quien espera el bus, sino tiene una connotación de \"temo\" como dije de trepidación por lo que va a ser descubierto. Como no se el contexto no puedo asegurarlo pero esa e mi impresion
Cuando se usa I fear no signinfica lo mismo que \"fear\" solo, es solo un tinte de temor a la expectativa
