Carta de Menú (vs Carta de Restaurante)

español al inglés Otros Alimentos y bebidas Restaurant menu
This is from a menu and appears after the Carta de Restaurante.
I have always thought "Menú" is a set menu, whereas "Carta" is what we would call simply a menu. However, the list of items (platos combinados and bocadillos) under the "Carta de Menú" are individually priced so I'm now confused.
Can anyone shed any light, please?
Thanks!

Thanks all Thanks all, but in the end we didn't get too far. I raised it with the agency and we decided on "Set Menu" with a note to the client. They haven't come back with anything so far. But thanks all for your help!

@Helena I quite like that too. A plato combinado tends to be a good option for hungry people: you might get a piece of meat, a couple of fried eggs, chips and one or two other vegetables all on one plate.
Helena Chavarria May 19, 2019:
I like 'one-course meal' that is suggested in the previous question Charles has found. Some platos combinados are quite substantial.

Thoughts... I am familiar with a number of hotels that identify their menus by the place they are to be served in: Restaurant Menu, Poolside Menu, Terrace Menu, Cafeteria Menu .
Often, as Charles points out, the main Restaurant serves food only at meal times (lunch & dinner) while the others are open all day/evening,.
From what Communican says about the content, the suggestion ‘Snack Menu’ also occurred to me as a possible solution...
Helena Chavarria May 19, 2019:
Bocadillos and platos combinados If it's just a list of bocadillos and platos combinados, then Charles is probably right and they're items that are served when the kitchen is closed. A 'plato combinado' is really a 'main dish'.

platos combinados A horrible expression to have to translate, I agree. Here are a number of ideas:

It is odd, but the nature of the items on the "carta de menú" suggests to me that it's a sort of bar menu (maybe not literally): the kind of stuff they can prepare on the spot and serve at any time of day. What you would call that I'm not sure.

It seems pretty clear that "menú" is not being used here in its usual sense of a set menu at all.

Menu of the day Could it be something like a menu of the day?
Comunican (asker) May 19, 2019:
hmmmm It's a PDF (oh, joy!) with three different menus -one for the restaurant, one for the terrace and the third being the Carta de Menú. It includes bocadillos and platos combinados (a term that I have also always struggled with). I'm not sure what else I can say about other than it has taken me virtually all day to translate 2000 words!
Helena Chavarria May 19, 2019:
Or it might mean 'List of Dishes'.
Helena Chavarria May 19, 2019:
My Spanish husband and I are as confused as you are! Could it refer to the physical menu?

À la carte

In restaurants, à la carte /ɑːləˈkɑːrt/[1] is the practice of ordering individual dishes from a menu in a restaurant, as opposed to table d'hôte, where a set menu is offered.[2] It is an early 19th century loan from French meaning "according to the menu".[3][4]

The individual dishes to be ordered may include side dishes, or the side dishes may be offered separately, in which case, they are also considered à la carte
