This phrase occurs all through a Puerto Rican financial statement of a credit union, not only in the body of the text but also in tables. For instance:
El efecto de esta enmienda causó un aumento en la ECONOMIA NETA para el año XXX de $xxxxx.
And,
La ECONOMIA NETA comprensiva se compone del beneficio operacional más los otros cambios en los activos netos que surjan de otras fuentes.
It seems to me that there is another more popular term for this in Spanish. However, it's the English term that I need. Would I say simply "net income"? I would think that that is covered by "ingresos neto".

This sounds like "consolidated profit"...
I don't think anything with 'income' would be right as the original ES is clearly about 'beneficios'.
