electric Ceran mould

Ceran is a trade name for glass ceramics
What is puzzling, is the juxtappositon of Mulde and Gesenk. Both means mould (Giessform Spritzform, Giessplatte - die, tray) in different contexts.
I guess that this is part of a stove.

Ceran griddle tray recess

Elektro-Ceran is a brand name for a type of griddle plate (see ref 1: Elektro-Ceran-Griddleplatte Einzel, Griddleplatten.
Elektro-Ceran-Griddleplatte Maxi, Griddleplatten. ... and ref 2: .. Griddle plate, double Flat griddle plate in ... Deep-fryer Electro-mechanical control

the rest is guesswork: he Mulde is the tray holding the griddle, and the Gesenk is a recess (in a countertop. probably) for the tray
Peer comment(s):

neutral Dietrich Herrmann, MD, PhD, MBA : But this is supposed to be a list of household appliances. How can a recess be an appliance? In German the only reasonable terms I know of are Ceran-Kochfeld/Kochmulde, but never heard of Gesenk in this context.

agreed; it's just a guess. If they're separate items, then I'm stumped (particularly with the related question 'Elektro Masse Mulde Gesenk'
