Der Satz beginnt natürlich: "es ist zu prüfen, ob...." und dann werden die einzelnen Punkte aufgelistet.

triggered

or tripped. Damage to lightning conductors/protection systems or tripped/triggered fuses. Auslösen is to trip or trigger something (e.g. a fuse)
Peer comment(s):

agree Darin Fitzpatrick : tripped: "... not damaged or tripped."

The original says "Beschädigungen oder Auslösungen", hence my "damage to lightning conductors ... or tripped fuses"
neutral David Moore (X) : This looks like general instructions, so I guess it wouldn't have tripped...sorry, Alan, but I think the context is against you this time!

Well I'm willing to be corrected :-) But I've never seen Auslösungen used like this before. Are you sure you don't want to change your mind? :-)
agree Klaus Herrmann : tripped, yes. Auslösen for dettachment does *not* work in German.//oops, forgot the "not".

2 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks a lot! I finally found "disconnected" on this website: www.dehn.de/www_DE/frameset_www.html?/www_DE/PAGES_E/service/downloads/lp_guide05/lp_guide05.html However, I think Alan's answer was closer to that, that's why I would like to assign the points to him. Thanks to all of you!"

hmmm....or maybe whether the whole thing has become detached and might take come flying down with the next storm. Don´t know which is the more likely
Peer comment(s):

agree David Moore (X) : Yes - general instructions for an annual inspection, not an inspection after a storm.

definitely general instructions, yes
disagree Klaus Herrmann : To the best of my knowledge, „Auslösungen“ can't be used that way in German. Ablösungen, ok, but not Auslösungen.

I took it to mean whether something might have "gelöst""aus" something else, but you are right, calling that an Auslösung is indeed a novelty :)
