French to English Tech/Engineering Computers (general) Contactless technology for transport

I am looking for a good way of rendering the above (which I do not feel I can separate into various terms here, even though they could normally be considered individually) in the following horridly long French sentence:

L'avantage des cartes de la famille [......} est de beneficier des specification d'applicatifs securtaires et rapides au niveau des interfaces carte/lecteurs sans contact, adaptes a la multimodalite du contexte des transports urbains et prevoyant des ouvertures vers le multiservice, resultats d'un travail realise avec plusieurs reseaux de transport europeens.

This is taken from an article about smart cards - contactless cards used to access a wide range of services, including public transport. I am fine with the rest of the above, but just need some help with sorting out the 'specifications' bit.
