English term

heel

English to Ukrainian Tech/Engineering Automotive / Cars & Trucks
Select forward gear, check surroundings again and release the brake.
Moving forward ensure the fork-arms do not rub the pallet boards as this could dislodge the load and the stack could collapse.
Процедура зняття вантажу зі штабеля
If necessary adjust the height of the fork-arms (but remember to stop and secure the lift truck before using the hydraulics).
As you enter the load you will need to be aware of the backrest extension and the base of the mast so as not to make contact with either overhead obstructions or the base of the stack.
Fully enter and heel the load.
Once the load is heeled apply the parking brake and put the vehicle in neutral.
Lift the load to clear the stack.
If the load is heavy the fork-arms may flex forward, so adjust as necessary.

Ось знайшов ще такий цікавий контекст. Select forward gear, check all around and move forward until the legs of the lift truck are very near but not touching (Kissing) the upright foot protector.
Apply the brake (if applicable) and select neutral gear.
Move the mast forward until the heels of the fork-arms touch the pallet / load.
Ensure you do not rub the pallet boards as the forks enter as this could cause the racking to become unstable.
Once the load is heeled, lift the load and draw the mast back (Reach the mast in) as far as it will go to clear the compartment.
Тобто це такий стадія, коли вантаж входить в контакт з п'ятою вил. Чи є якійсь специфічний термін?
