FULL MANUAL OPERATION (not recommended, but this can be used when the operator has become familiar with the SAM functions):
If the user chooses to run SAM manually (e.g., without the scripts) then each device must be started manually. First, the CAMERAS window must be opened, by clicking on the CAMERAS button that is located on the MAIN window. Then, “dark data” must be taken by clicking the dark data button on the camera panel. Cover all cameras for DARK data acquisition. To select the camera image that will be displayed, use the display drop down box and then select OUTSIDE, INSIDE or HALO. To begin the display of images, click on “start” (located at the bottom of the window near the ** thread control dialogue).
