I'm uncertain about the meaning of your question, but are you trying to find the origin of the name 'Reffin' in Norway?

I don't think Reffin is a Norwegian name. I have searched for it with 3 different Norwegian search engines, and there was not a single hit. I also searched for it in the online telephone directory for the whole of Norway. There was not a single hit there, either.

I searched for it in "Tanums store rettskrivningsordbok", which is a Norwegian dictionary with 300,000 words. 'Reffin' is not in it.

As a native Norwegian I would say that the name doesn't sound familiar at all.

When I searched internationally, I got several hits, one of them being the Leicestershire Surnames list. So it would seem that your surname is English.

There is of course a possibility that the original form of the name Reffin was different, and that the original form would be familiar to Norwegians.
